The State of Emerging Markets in 2017

If you’re a consistent reader of the American Century Investments blog, you’ll know that our recent posts have shared a common theme: uncertainty. In fact, it’s been a focus of every single blog post we’ve published this month. Uncertainty from the U.S. presidential election. Uncertainty from Brexit. Uncertainty from the Federal Reserve’s decision to raise rates. As a new president takes the helm, it may be weeks — or even months — before that theme begins to subside.

While nothing is certain, today I’m going to provide a positive viewpoint. In the video below, I focus on the three reasons I am encouraged that the emerging markets growth story will be positive in 2017.
