Global Bond Investing as Rates Rise in 2017

The months since President Trump’s election have seen a flurry of activity, and much of that activity directly affects the economy—policy, changes in administration and rising interest rates. Today I’m focused on rates. More specifically, I address two reasons I believe they will continue rising as we move further into 2017.

And assuming this growth story is real, what then? That’s the “$64,000 question” in the asset allocation world. We’re looking for value, domestically and internationally. We’re looking to rotate into countries that have strong fundamentals—and out of countries with poor fundamentals.
